Case Studies
Design and development of a national e-learning course on safety training for construction workers across Canada.

The 6-hour training reached over 200,000 registered users with diverse levels of digital literacy, spanning urban, rural, and remote locations.

The course employs a responsive design approach to automatically adapt the layout for mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.

It includes over 1000 screens with 94 explainer videos, 25 assessment sets, and a wide range of interactive activities. Bandwidth-efficient design ensures successful delivery across all learner groups.
Suite of renewable energy e-Learning courses developed for the education and capacity-building initiative funded by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).
iDesign, in collaboration with Ontario First Nations communities and their Energy partner, was selected by NRCan to develop a suite of renewable energy courses.

Strategy, UX and Technical development for new Learning Management System (LMS)
A global leader in K-12 education, HMH’s Learning Management System (LMS) is a key piece in HMH’s delivery of educational content to its learners.
iDesign provided UX and visual design for the update of the LMS. The LMS is now used by thousands of schools in the U.S.
iDesign’s role included participating in strategy development, User Experience consulting and UI development.
Training, consultancy, design and e-Learning development services
Over a 29-month period, iDesign provided training, consultancy, design, and development services for eight major training initiatives for the National Building Society in the UK.
iDesign developed blended learning solutions combining eLearning modules, reference guides, interactive PDFs, simulations, instructional videos, and face-to-face training packs.
A wide range of tools were employed, including Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Adobe Captivate, custom HTML/JavaScript, InDesign, Camtasia, and Illustrator to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences.
